Lead a team of unique Pals to victory. Pals, Gears, Events, and Structures all become cards, with deep strategy and brand-new illustrations on every card.
Each player brings two decks. New players can start immediately with a ready-to-play Trial Deck.
Exactly 50 cards made of Pals, Gears, Events, and Structures. Use up to two colors — colorless cards are unrestricted.
Exactly 10 Soul cards. Souls are the resource you rest to pay the cost of cards you play.
Official Trial Decks are pre-built and ready to play. Add Booster Packs later to customize and power up.
Your Main Deck is built from four kinds of cards, each with a different role.
Your main characters. They lead battles and can be assigned to Structures. Each has Cost, Power, and Strike.
Mostly tools and weapons. Empower your Pals or damage your opponent’s Pals.
Powerful one-time effects. Play them at the right moment for an immediate burst of value.
Persistent field cards. Assign (rest) a Pal to activate their ability. Destroyed when damage meets or exceeds Durability.
Four short steps from an empty table to your first win.
Set out a 50-card Main Deck and a 10-card Soul Deck. Keep the Main Deck to two colors at most (colorless unrestricted). Souls pay for the cards you play.
Pals carry three key numbers:
Events deliver a one-time effect when played. Structures stay on the field; assign a Pal (rest sideways) to trigger their ability. Each has Durability and is destroyed when that damage is reached.
Attack with Pals to wear your opponent down. When a player takes damage, they reveal cards from the top of their deck equal to the attacker’s Strike (Damage Check).
A revealed Lucky icon cancels that damage. Reduce your opponent’s life to 0 to win. (Starting life 10, maximum 15.)
Besides Souls, some effects give player counters (not cards) that you spend later.
Souls move from the Soul Deck into the Soul Area and are rested to pay card costs.
Gained from Pal, Gear, and Structure effects (`Get N Ingredient@` / `Get N Material@`) and spent as ACT costs (`[Consume N Ingredient@]`, etc.). The battle UI shows your current counts on each player badge.
