What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser localStorage for some preferences. Together they help the site remember settings and—only if you allow it—support advertising.

Essential cookies / storage

These are needed for basic operation and preferences. Examples include display language, color theme, and authentication session cookies. They do not require advertising consent.

Advertising cookies (optional)

If you select “Accept ads” (or equivalent) on the consent banner, we load Google AdSense. Google may then set or read advertising cookies and similar identifiers to personalize and measure ads. See: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

If you select “Essential only”, we do not load AdSense scripts. That choice is stored under keys such as hiding-tcg-consent-ads (localStorage and a same-named cookie).

First-party analytics storage

We may use sessionStorage for first-touch traffic metadata (referrer host, UTM, entry path) used by our own traffic recorder. The recorder also stores server-side fields described in the Privacy Policy: path, referrer/UTM, visitor IP address, IP hash, country, User-Agent, and signed-in email/user id. This is not a third-party ad network cookie, and advertising consent does not turn this recording off.

Managing preferences

Use the consent banner when it appears. To reset, clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser, then reload—the banner will appear again. You can also use browser controls or Google’s ad settings when ads are enabled.
